Ruminations of a Taco-Obsessed Philly Native

There are a lot of doctors out there, but very few are are skilled and as caring as Dr. Jennifer Walden. She recently had the honor of being named one of the 24 best beauty surgeons in the whole United States according to Harper’s Bazaar magazine recently. In her line of work, she is considered a leader, which is the highest praise that a doctor can receive. It means they are helping others, leading others, and showing them the way. They are trusted for the way they conduct themselves and the way they handle their business. They have a certain moral code and they abide by it.

To get to where she is, it takes a lot of time and a lot of commitment. It meant long hours and lots and lots of training. She received her training from the best cosmetic surgeons in New York City. When one receives that training, it prepares them and gets them ready for what lies ahead. It shows them the ropes and shows them the proper way to conduct themselves when they are doing their job. There is something called bedside manner that a lot of doctors either choose to ignore or don’t do at all.

Dr. Jennifer Walden is from Austin, Texas, and she has never forgotten where she came from or how she got to where she is today. That is vital. It keeps someone humble and it keeps them always remembering their hometown and the people that have helped molded them along the way. Walden uses this when she treats her patients. She treats them with the utmost care and asks them questions to find out what they are looking for and the best way to make sure they are as comfortable as possible.

All of her training has prepared her for this moment, and it is a moment she is ready for and a moment she is embracing to the fullest. She knows she is doing something she loves and she is getting paid for it. Not many people in life can say that about themselves when they get out of bed in the morning.
